Since 2003, Jean-Marc is active as a business consultant and interim manager for innovative high-tech companies such as Innovative Silicon, Spinetix, Axsionics, Nexthink, or Mnemis. He is also a consultant and financial expert with the CTI start-up Swiss federal organization, lecturer with Venturelab and Master of Technology/EPFL, and is jury member with Venturekick. Jean-Marc holds a MSc in Electrical Engineering from EPFL and MBA from IMD.

Sacha is a regulatory and quality assurance expert. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the medical device start-up environment in various positions. In addition, formerly research manager at the Swiss Health Observatory and researcher for the quality in the acute intra muros domain, Sacha brings extensive experience with health care related data analysis and introduction of novel health management programs. Sacha holds a Masters in Health Economy and Management from the University of Lausanne and is a Licentiate in Political Sciences.

Zoltán Czigler Financial Director

Zoltán brings over 12 years of experience in financial management and investments, having funded several start-ups as a venture capitalist and subsequently having raised multiple rounds of financing as financial manager of early-stage life-science ventures in Switzerland. He has also been responsible for the structuring of out licensing transactions in excess of US$ 100m. Previously, as project manager with the Oracle Corporation, he managed a number of ERP implementation projects for the finance and accounting functions of large corporate clients.
Zoltán holds an MBA from INSEAD (European Institute for Business Administration) and an MSc in Engineering Mathematics from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

René Goedkoop, MDChief Medical Officer

René is responsible for Sensimed' clinical development.
He brings more than 21 years of experience in clinical development with emphasis on first in class therapeutic proteins for inflammatory disease, cardiovascular disease, CNS and cancer, including 8 years in the field of medical devices and cell-based technologies. Prior to joining Sensimed in 2011, he was active as an independent consultant at Shogu Consulting (founded by René), with focus on clinical product development strategy and implementation thereof in all its facets from late stage pre-clinical to launch for biotechnology and high-tech medical technology companies worldwide. In addition he consulted for two major VCs, and was an independent board of director member at Neovacs.
His extensive experience spans a wide range of leading positions with increasing worldwide responsibilities, from clinical research physician to vice-president clinical development for a variety of biotechnology companies. As such he worked in start-up and large companies, including Apoxis, Modex, Serono International, Eli Lilly and Centocor. He completed his medical degree and was a resident in cardiopulmonary surgery at the University of Amsterdam. He has authored a variety of peer-reviewed publications and abstracts.
